In case we've never met, I'd like to introduce myself to you. My name is Elizabeth Larson and I've been a professional photographer since 1990. It's hard to believe that much time has gone by - and I've loved every minute of it! My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic when I was about 12 given to me by my father, who is a photojournalist and travel writer - he was and still is my inspiration!
While I was a student, I began to get serious about photography and my camera of choice then was a Pentax K1000, which I used for several years until I inherited my grandfather's Leica CL when I was in my early twenties. I still have that camera and my K1000 too, though I now work in digital capture.
Originally starting my business in my hometown, Charlottesville, Virginia, I currently reside in the beautiful North Carolina countryside between Greensboro, NC and Danville, VA. Weddings, portrait sessions, assignments, friends, and family often bring me back to Virginia. I will travel anywhere & am available for destination weddings and out-of-town assignments.
In recent years, I've discovered that I really love teaching photography. I offer local photography workshops from time to time and have 3 to choose from this coming May and June 2018. More information about these classes and signing up can be found here. About every 12 to 15 months, I teach a photography workshop at the prestigious John C. Campbell Folk School in Western North Carolina. In addition I'm available for mentoring and one-on-one instruction locally.
Other than photography, I also enjoy gardening, cooking, kayaking, camping, traveling, collecting art, creating art, journaling, attending live music shows & festivals. And of course spending time with my life partner, Terry, and our four fur babies.

We offer wedding day collections with or without an album. Any collection, you may add an album if desired. Custom handcrafted in full-grain leather or linen, albums are available in 4 sizes - 4x4, 8x8, 10x10, or 12x12, with a modern design. Leather is available in 18 gorgeous colors & the linen in 16 colors. Custom imprinting is offered in a variety of fonts on the front cover as an option. There's something to please everyone.
All of our wedding clients will receive their edited images on a custom USB wooden thumb drive with a prints release, presented in a craft box, tied with raffia. Portrait clients - please inquire about what our sessions include. Some sessions include images on a custom disc with prints release or you may purchase separately.
Other products available are canvas gallery wrap enlargements, personalized photo notecards, standard printing for all of our wedding and portrait clients, and panoramic books. These books are perfect for portrait and engagement sessions. Many of our wedding couples use them for a sign-in guest book at their wedding receptions. Please contact us for details.

LIFESTYLE PORTRAITURE - Full sessions start at $250 and are available on location for up to 2 hours. We also offer 30 minute sessions for $150. Travel fees may apply depending on location. Head shots and band promos are available as well - please inquire about current rates and services.
For commercial assignments, I offer half-day and full-day rates & for editorial, priced by the assignment.
