Addison and Alexis are celebrating their two year wedding anniversary today!  They were married on his family's farm in Gibsonville surrounded by their families and friends on a perfect and most beautiful fall day. What I really loved is that their dog Bailey played a huge part in their wedding day. She joined them for their first look, waited at the alter with Addison as Alexis came up the aisle with her dad, and then joined them for Addison and Alexis's golden hour photos.

Their early afternoon ceremony was underneath the branches of an old oak tree, overlooking the farm's rolling fields and pastures. Hay bales served as seating for the guests, as did several rocking chairs for their parents and grandparents. Addison and Alexis tied a unity cord of three strands together symbolizing their everlasting union and with God. And at the very end of their ceremony, after reciting their vows and the kiss, they handed both of their mothers roses.

The reception was held immediately following the ceremony, also on the farm. The Taco Bar and the Photobooth were definitely big hits at their wedding. Although they didn't have an official DJ, they put together a playlist of their favorite music.  Addison and Alexis were a dream to work with, so easy going and really good people. At home weddings, and in particular farm weddings, are so special.

Although Addison and Alexis' wedding was two years ago, it literally seems like it was just yesterday.  I remember the day fondly. Happy Anniversary to Addison and Alexis! And congratulations to these two once again - their baby boy is due in April 2025!
